BED BUGS

There seems to be an increase in reported cases of bed bugs at the moment. The common bed bug (Cimex lectularius). Bed bugs feed on blood, causing itchy bites and generally irritating their human hosts.

Like most bugs the humble bed bug if very tricky to spot. The secret is to know you've got infestation, with an early diagnosis being critical be cause you don't want these little critters to spread and become established.

Obviously treating a minor infestation will be a lot cheaper than a widespread one. so looking for the signs of bed bugs is key. Look out for small red or dark dots (1mm) on your bed or bed sheets. If you think you may have an infestation don't panic or worry. As mentioned it's very treatable with the right professional pest control team.
